Log Drop: what the early physics-automation build includes

A source-checked look at Log Drop's current browser build, five-zone campaign, planned sandbox mode and unannounced Steam date.

Log Drop appeared in our observed itch.io sample after its September 19 publication. The developer describes it as a 2D physics-automation game about routing logs into a core, but the available browser build and the planned full game are not the same thing. Official itch.io page.

What is available now

The itch.io page labels the HTML5 version as an early build in development. Its current campaign has five zones, each with objectives framed as separate puzzles. Players can fling, funnel and hold logs, then buy and upgrade tools used in the contraption. These details come from the developer page; we have not played or performance-tested the build.

What remains a plan

The same page says an unrestricted sandbox mode is intended for the full game, while a Steam playtest and demo are planned. Those are future statements, not features we can confirm in the current browser build. The Steam listing names Who Nose Studios as developer and publisher, but still shows the release date as “to be announced.” It does not establish the size of the team.

How to read its ranking appearance

Our itch.io observation page preserves the source page order. It is not a verified sales chart, and an entry in the sample does not prove broad-market momentum. For another example of separating a live demo from a future release plan, see our Booster Pack Heroes source guide.
